About the Concert

On behalf of the Edward Hosharian Foundation, it is our great pleasure to announce a magical evening with Greg Hosharian and the Armenian Pops Orchestra at our upcoming concert, "Portraits of the Homeland." This event will take place on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the Alex Theatre in Glendale.

Prepare to be captivated by a full 40-piece orchestra and a groundbreaking collaboration with a Gospel Choir. This concert is unlike any you've ever seen, featuring a unique fusion of Armenian music, jazz, rock, and highlights of traditional holiday melodies. With its innovative blend of traditional and contemporary sounds, this event promises to be an unforgettable celebration of our rich cultural heritage.

All proceeds from this event will benefit the Edward Hosharian Foundation, a nonprofit organization established in memory of Greg’s father, the late Maestro Edward Hosharian. The Foundation is dedicated to promoting music awareness and appreciation by providing financial assistance to college students of Armenian descent who are pursuing studies in music or composition. These students share the same passion for music as the late Maestro Hosharian, ensuring his legacy continues to inspire future generations.
